Synth Single Review: “Galaxy Traveler” by Atmolifter

Atmolifter's “Galaxy Traveler” spreads outward like a distant supernova, exploding in silent light as tapping rhythms are joined by a kick drum heartbeat, borne on celestial winds. Pushing like thrusters, the beat adds forward motion while distant tones wander like comets across the galaxy, creating impressions of loneliness and unfathomable vastness in my mind.

All of the sonic layers paint imagery expressing the eternal majesty and power of the universe. Expanding notes tremble outward like stars shining for uncountable eons in time and space, gentle tones flowing like planetary landscapes past the window of a spacecraft.

Through star clusters and nebulae, the music carries smoothly, capturing all of the breathtaking enchantment of the cosmos in which we exist. A cascade of intertwining light spills in a line of brightness while string-like notes wash with moonlit delicacy, while the universal journey comes to an end.
