Synth Single Review: “Philos” by Dominus Lux

Dominus Lux’s “Philos” moves through diffuse warmth and affection as a melodic line produces misty sensations of peaceful longing, sliding above a trembling well of feeling. Subtle shades of contemplation and dandelion-seed floating move as rhythmic weight establishes itself. A hazy smoothness ripples from notes that glitter like a sinking sun, exhaling a cloud of tranquility.

Impressions of a profound and loving connection reflect from the glistening melody. Percussive motion adds a layer of support to vibrating notes dripping with indigo relaxation.

Like a noctilucent cloud, a sheeny synth glows, as notes fall like soft midnight rain. Waves of power move from below while higher tones generate a feeling of delicate, tentative motion before a quiet veil descends.
