Synth Single Review: “I Lost My Mind’’ by Spadwave

Spadwave’s “I Lost My Mind” is full of thoughtful, quiet sensations as it unfolds. The track opens as softly floating notes move in gentle, elegant motion. Chimes flicker with lissome luminosity as the pounding underlayer adds shape to the sparkling arpeggios. The elevated notes carry a haunting and touching melody, drifting like aching emotion above the richly undulating underpinnings.

The rhythm is solid while the shiny synth carries a dreaming melody, transporting me into a world of melancholy contemplation. The drums drop away as the glistening notes flow out above the softly throbbing foundational pulse, slipping past with oceanic motion that I find deeply touching.

The levitating quality of the music lofts me like a warm current and carries me through the deep waters of the track. The main melody slides out again with its caressing tendrils, washing softly like seaweed in the tide, before the soothing motion of the low end guides the music to a close.

Synth Single Review: “When The Future Began” by Victor Roy

Victor Roy’s “When The Future Began” captures hope and a sense of possibility as it unfolds. The piece starts as Victor Roy’s thunderous guitar shines with aspirational light joined by a tapping beat and swelling bass. The drums are clean as they define the music and a roundly brassy synth trumpets out with nobility.

The guitar unfolds in a rush of positivity, unfurling with intricate elegance. Smoothly trumpeting notes dance in an intertwining pattern which evokes hopeful dreaming, transporting me to a world of possibility. Gleaming tones climb with radiant motion as Victor Roy’s guitar carries the main melody, full of joyful contemplation and a sense of future progress. The underpinnings pulse smoothly while silken guitar permeates the music.

A sense of completion fills the richly intermingled guitar while shining tones join the lead synth as it sings with encouragement. The beat is continually shaping, a rhythmic heartbeat that dances below glowing notes which trip through the music easily. Luminous sounds gleam while slightly nasal sounding notes unwind before the guitar melody rises again, filling me with boundless happiness and a feeling of wide-open horizons. The triumphant positivity is infectious while the foundation throbs before the music slips to an end.

Synth Single Review: “Time Machine” by Tenodi Boris

Tenodi Boris’ “Time Machine” evokes an incredible journey of two time travelers. The track begins with fragile chimes sparkling like distant light while the piercing notes shine and a deeply rumbling underlayer flows. The bright notes dance hectically before the sharp drums move with the darkly rhythmic bass.

The main melody has an energetic flair to it, flying with undeniably exultant emotion. The synth has a sharply angled feeling as it bursts out with a thrilling melodic pattern, capturing a brand new adventure. The rebounding bass pattern drops out as gossamer notes levitate and militaristic drums rap sharply. Tensely wound notes add anticipation while the track moves through an ethereally drifting segment.

The voiceover talks about a time machine and the drum accelerates before the jagged, lacerating bass moves with fierce energy. Trumpeting notes explode while a synth gleams and broken vocal sounds shift. Distortion and strange motion evoke a time machine in action while the guitar slides with madly explosive energy that encapsulates the sense of adventure which fills the music. I enjoy the way in which the track explores reaching new horizons as it evolves.

Synth Single Review: “Twisted” by Cassetter & Isidor

Cassetter & Isidor’s “Twisted” rises with terrifying weight and force. The track starts as a mysterious melody unwinds along with a dark laugh and twisting, clattering sounds that grow into a susurrus. The rhythm is insistent and crushing while the fearfully intertwining synth carries a nervously unfolding melody, tinged by gentleness.

Slamming bass grinds with fierce strength while the drums roll like a gathering gale. An unholy, distorted choir chants as the battering beat rocks the music. Palpable shadows reach out with hungry claws while the unsettling tones twist. As the synth bends with unhallowed, writhing sensations, the distorted notes howl and the shattering foundation pounds.

Swirling notes add to the growing disorder before they fall and wriggle alongside a ferocious guitar. The guitar melody is full of hungry energy and evil import, carrying me away into the dark void at the music’s centre. The underpinnings heave with malevolent force while growling sounds add to the demonic sensation. The drum beat smashes hard again while the nervous melodic pattern shivers and the track ends with a great roar.
