Synth Single Review: “Wonderflux” by Everdune

Everdune’s “Wonderflux” is filled with a sense of planetary adventure. Rapidly rippling notes move alongside a pounding kick drum in an accelerating charge. Percussion bursts into a speeding beat as a synth creates a feeling of gently levitating, cosmic ease. The main melody suggests landscapes unfolding while traveling across an unfamiliar planet.

Pounding underpinnings heighten the drama as the lead synth flies with uplifting force and trumpeting tones fill the music with boundless exploration. I imagine a ship skimming the surface of an unknown world as spinning tones add bursting speed. The way in which the artist weaves imagery is compelling and enjoyable as the track unfolds. 

The synth melody feels tightly wound and thrilling, skipping like dust plumes rising from alien soil. Punching notes and throbbing percussion return before pan pipes float delicately, adrenaline surging until the leaping tonal pattern drives once more and the track ends.

Cascading tones move behind a frolicking synth that shines like starlight piercing shadow. The track glows with richness and depth, full of beautifully graceful feeling. The rhythm moves steadily as cutting pulsations weave between calming notes that drift like a noctilucent cloud.

Serenity steals over me as the pan pipes breathe and the underpinnings throb. Elevated notes glisten like hopeful stars above shadowed lands, while dense bass carries the track forward.

Metallic tones form a hypnotic pattern, joined by a string-like synth that carries a dreaming melodic line. Crystalline notes float with graceful elegance as the melody dances distantly with yearning meditation before silence falls.

Brilliant tones float above haunted textures, illuminating the music with a ghostly glow.

A mixture of chaos and beauty reflects both challenge and possibility as crushing bass snarls and solar notes glisten. I enjoy how the musical imagery mirrors the Sub Neon’s intent, with surging tones offering encouragement against fractured, uncertain sounds that leap and fade. The bass remains massive as erupting effulgence spills through the track it closes in a final surge of light and shadow.
