Isidor, Cassetter, Pashang 爬上 & Cult Of Neon’s “Bite The Night” is a sombre chant broken by a scream echoing and a churning mass of percussion smashes violently into the underpinnings of the track. Descending sounds tremble with an unholy melody that mixes melancholy and ever-increasing dread.
Tense notes are cut by a malevolent choir before elevated tones scream with unsettled emotion, conjuring terrifying images of a creature with ravening, dark appetites in my mind. Strings dance in flashing, luminous patterns before the percussion drops and sinister sounds levitate with a chittering noise for a moment.
A pounding underlayer pushes hard while spectral sounds are joined by dramatic strings sobbing in counterpoint to the choir’s Black Mass. Insectile noises slip as expansive, angular tones lacerate while raised notes exude growing fear. The delicate chimes balance the heaviness seething below before ending the track.
