Synth Single Review: “Radio Garage” by The Blue Book Project

by Karl Magi

The Blue Book Project’s “Radio Garage” crackles into life with scanning radio stations before notes echoing with polished brightness vibrate above an active drum line and solid bass support. A brassy synth transmits a theme exploding with thrilling life and pumping adrenaline before the Italian vocals say, “come to the garage, tonight too, time goes by but tonight it's even better."

The snapping percussion joins a cascading tonal pattern before a guitar flashes with dynamic excitement and the robotic vocals repeat with trance-inducing energy. Strong feelings of lightness and bubbly positivity come over me as the song progresses.

A melody which reflects youthful freshness and the thrill of new experiences dances with the clapping drums and a synth shining with pure happiness. Guitar chord changes are supported by unique and ear-catching percussion while the robotic voice continues to repeat and silence falls over the music.
