Synth Single Review: “Endless Doors, Endless Dreams”  by Shadowrunner

by Karl Magi

Shadowrunner's “Endless Doors, Endless Dreams” is yearning and nostalgic. The piece commences with a growing field of brightness and a driving drum beat as a rounded jazz organ echoes with cool relaxation. A piano dances like soft tendrils while the lyrics capture a sense of magic and the piano floats past with tender light.

The lushly warming vocals drift through the music as an organic xylophone skips with ease and rich notes slip past. The vocals are caressing as they carry the wistful words, capturing the melancholy of passing time. The drum beat presses forward as the piano exudes soft twilight and the background exhales.

The drums trip lightly and the vocals capture my imagination while the throbbing beat is touched by a fragile piano. A reverberating synth trembles with calming softness while the xylophone adds a woodsy depth. Wordless vocals exhale as sailing metallic notes burnish the music and silence falls with peace.
